A thermal runaway is a faulty process that may appear under certain conditions in a battery pack when a battery charger does not have any temperature control or does not function properly,thermal runaway is a positive temperature feedback effect of a system with higher heat generation than effective cooling through the battery walls.

The key to use it in packs with a numerous individual Li-ion cells is the material thermal conductivity, if you have an individual cell that has a problem,such as an internal sort circuit or nail penetration,that cell will creat more heat than others, when you have a big thermal runaway,that problem begins with a single cell,and then spreads quickly through the entire pack,our phase change material can rapidly move the heat away from the problematic cell and absorb it to prevent a chain reaction. further more, with our phase change material integrated can improve life cycle of Li-ion significantly which bring along the benefits that cost reduce as you don’t force to find the substitute problem cells.
