2, Descriptions

   PCM ball are the materials with PCMs core and HDPE hard shell incorporated, employing SL-PCMs series solid to liquid high LHS capacity material as the core PCMs, the PCM ball enjoying high performance in the TES management.

The outer shell HDPE is a very good material as the carrier, it has the advantages of the follows

• Good thermal conductivity as the heat transfer medium

• HDPE itself also a good Polymer PCMs,only their melting point high

HDPE material remain neutral to phase change materials and transfer heat to the PCMs cores, Once PCMs filled, the PCM ball interface is ultrasonically sealed. PCM balls are the ideal material of TES solutions for off-peak energy storage and shifting on-peak demand to stabilize and optimize utility load. They are used extensively for TES designs of cold chain like food and beverage ,packaging, logistic, healthcare& medical, solar thermal energy storage,HVAC thermal management etc.
