2, Descriptions
PCMs can be divided into inorganic phase change materials, organic phase change materials ,polymers and polymer-based PCMs of their compounds according to the chemical composition of the materials.
Among them, polymers and their compounds with Organic/Inorganic phase change materials mainly include high-density polyethylene HDPE, polyethylene glycol(PEG) and their Compounds of with organic or inorganic PCMs. Organic phase change materials like our SL-PCMs pure PCMs have the advantages of rarely supercooling and no phase separation with stable and the reliable reversibility, They are the good and mature material of phase change energy storage. However, Organic PCMs material has liquid phase in the process of phase transition, and its application conditions scope are greatly restricted. Although the use of microencapsulation technology can solve this problem to a certain extent, the containing ratio of the material and the energy storage capacity is limited,yet the cost also at high side.
Our TX-PCMs flexible polymer based phase change material are the polymer with organic PCMs(refer to our SL-PCMs) composited PCMs, the compounds in molecular level by technology of molecular cross-link, The organic PCMS is locked firmly by the polymer matrix,this enable our TX-PCMs have the feature of solid state in macroscope,while polymer-based PCMs can add material to increase the thermal conductitive, our TX-PCMs with soft graphite blended for higher thermal conducitive and with profile moldable can be shape engineered have a super compatible for lithium-ion Battery temperature control.
